I am passionate about people getting and staying fit, enjoying it at the same time. All ages, abilities. Personal Training sessions designed just for you. I have always loved sport and fitness of all kinds, my nickname as a boy was Bring-a-ball-Baines. I left school with no qualifications due to a serious, long term illness. I tried several jobs, while doing my O levels in the evenings. I went back to college to study for A levels and then while awaiting university was offered some temporary work in the building trade. I really enjoyed the physical side and working outside, so trained up in this and have been doing it ever since. I have had my own company for 28 years. However, I have always had a yearning to do more with fitness and exercise, so 5 years ago I began a venture called Fit4TheChallenge. The aim of this is to take groups on all kind of challenges and do the the training needed to complete these challenges. I have a Diploma in Personal training and exercise, level 3. I AM MORE INTERESTED IN THE PERSON THAN THE PROGRAM!! Most people who want to work with a Personal Trainer will have a goal in mind and this is vitally important. For me it is just as important what happens on the journey, i.e. more energy for everyday life, more confidence, a greater sense of wellbeing and ultimately more satisfaction in and with themselves!!!
